Giving up your pet?

This page is dedicated to our special new volunteers, which have embarked on a special mission at our Adoption Center. It is all about making a difference for all living things, dogs and humans! Our path, and the slow opening of the Adoption Center, has truly proven to be a rewarding experience because it eliminated the selfish, the greedy and the self-centered individuals who criticize.  We've brought in the best quality of people who are truly making a difference! FPALR would like to thank all of the new volunteers, which are part of this rescue! You are participating and creating a new world for the unwanted living creatures behind bars, by no fault of their own, while enhancing the lives of the ones that "LIVE their lives" in true spirit through education, compassion, dedication and hard work, while having fun! You are truly "The Best Humans!"

Volunteer Spotlight:

I am married and the proud mom of two cats named Pixie and Peanut; one domestic black longhair and a tabby mix.  I am also a college graduate, member of the ASPCA and Soldiers Angels.  I love animals, and since I find I am too allergic to have a dog at home, I share my love of dogs with those at Fortunate Pooches!   I am a new volunteer to the shelter system, but I look forward to contributing in the best ways that I can.
