ARE THERE SEEDS OF HOPE FOR NEW HOMES IN THE GARDEN SECTION ?

Barkley is a Coonhound who is sniffing around for a home. Another one of the longer residents he watches his friends come and go, all the time hoping that one day it will be his turn to bid a barking good bye to the friends he has made at FPALR

Lillian would love to lay by the flowers all day just getting some sun. No flowers ? How about a budding tree that will give her some space underneath to stretch her long legs. Former abused gal who needs to find out from more then just the volunteers that life is great. Her once sore neck has healed from when her former owners left an outgrown collar on. She truly deserves a place to call home

Sammy  I want to meet that special person that is missing in my life.I am mostly black with some white and often wonder why no one comes to see me. Can you tell me ? I am playful, on the smaller side, like other dogs and would love to have a family of my own real soon.

FORMER PUPPY MILL PUP FINDS THE TRUE MEANING OF LOVE AND LIFE

Another life of a former Puppy Mill Pup has a Miracle Begining to a " LOVED PET" life. Milo along with his brother Maxx arrived at the shelter Spring of 09. Just about 7 monthes old, never walked on a leash, never exposed to daily noises, grass or love.   Well just look at Milo now and read the note from his new family below

FPALR,

Milo has been a pleasure for Maggie and I. We were a bit worried that he would have difficulty adjusting to life in a home, but we were shocked after he became very comfortable just after a few days. Milo also broke out of his shell, he is incredibly playful, a side of him we did not see when we visited him in the shelter a few times. He cannot get enough of his squeeky toys and bones. He is fantastic with children and other dogs, a true joy to everyone who meets Milo. I think we discovered his favorite new place, the Montrose dog beach. We took him to the beach and he spent about half an hour running circles around the beach with the other dogs, he seems so happy.

Also, it took only a few days before we left him uncrated in the house because we discovered he did not take well to the crate. We have left him out while we are away and when we come back, we see him sitting looking out the window. Milo has also become very comfortable on the furniture (couch, chair and bed), something we should probably correct him for, but it is too cute! He has put on some weight, yet we are hoping he fattens up just a bit more.

Milo has added so much happiness to our lives; we consider ourselves so lucky to have had the opportunity to adopt him. I have attached a few pictures of Milo in his new home, yet more to come once he puts on a little more weight.

Thank you for everything you do!

Jim and Maggie

Make A Difference ... Adopt A Pet ... Save A Life!
Love

All the volunteers see us with their hearts not with their eyes. It doesn't matter if we are pure bred, black. spotted or white. We could be big or small, barkers or quiet, it doesn't matter. Can you do the same ? Would you be willing to give us a second chance at a home ? Would it matter if our other home didn't want us anymore ? If I have a limp can you see beyond it ? How about I have one blue eye and one brown ? It doesn't matter to us what you look like can you do the same ?

WE HAVE PUPPIES IN ALL SIZES, SHAPES AND COLORS CHECK THEM OUT UNDER OUR PUPPY SECTION. CALL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY AS MOST ARE IN FOSTER CARE
